Moonlighting

First-year residents are not licensed to moonlight. Any resident who is on probation, undertaking a remedial rotation, or on-call is not allowed to moonlight. Moonlighting is not to exceed 72 hours per month. Residents are responsible for their own licensing, certification and malpractice coverage for moonlighting activities. The Chief Resident(s), in conjunction with the Program Director, will monitor individual resident moonlighting activity. Residents may expect to significantly enhance income and ER experience in their second and third years.
