Excellent employee benefits and a competitive stipend offer a comprehensive package for the resident while in training. Group life, health, dental and vision insurance coverage are available at low cost to the resident and his/her family. Liability and disability coverage is provided for employees of Idaho State University. Resident stipends for 2009-2010 academic year are estimated to be $44,620 (R1), $46,400 (R2), and $48,460 (R3). The benefit of facilities offered through Idaho State University include a well-equipped gymnasium with pool, weight and exercise rooms, indoor tennis and racquetball courts, wilderness equipment rental center, movie theater and crafts/art center. The campus offers free movies and a variety of arts and entertainment.
